Little Known Ways of Subconscious Mind Reprogramming

Subconscious mind reprogramming involves repeated exposure to new thoughts, images, and habits. You can develop a positive attitude and success in any area of your life by going through this process.

I recommend first reading my articles on the subconscious brain, how the subconscious works, and subconscious perception so you can understand better how your subconscious works and how important it is to have it working for you instead of against you.

The subconscious mind learns through repetition. That’s how you formed your current beliefs and habits. Your beliefs and habits dictate how you feel, whether you have a positive attitude or a negative attitude, and your level of success in all areas of your life. The way to learn new and positive beliefs and habits is to use deliberate repetition of the new beliefs and goals you want to achieve.

Methods for Subconscious Mind Reprogramming

  • Visualization. Visualization involves taking some time to imagine having or being what you want.

  • Positive Affirmations. Positive affirmations are statements you regularly repeat to yourself to install new beliefs.

  • Meditation.Among many other positive benefits, meditation quiets your conscious mind. If you do this first, it’s easier to influence the subconscious mind.

  • Hypnosis. Hypnosis is a process that bypasses your conscious mind to directly communicate with your subconscious mind. Hypnosis can be done by a professional, or you can use audio hypnosis programs on your own at home. Hypnosis is a very effective method of subconscious mind reprogramming.

  • The Sedona Method. The Sedona Method is a process of letting go of old beliefs and habits. If you work at letting go of your old beliefs while also using other methods to install new beliefs, you can make amazing changes in your life in very little time. I’ve had great success using this method!

  • Special Audios and Subliminal Videos. Special Audios contain messages in the soundtracks that are designed to bypass much of the conscious thought process to go directly to the subconscious brain. Subliminal videos contain images and words that appear and disappear so quickly, your conscious mind doesn’t notice them. This way the messages and pictures go directly to your subconscious mind. The benefit of this method is that you can be doing other things like driving or working and still be working on subconscious mind reprogramming. You also eliminate the risk of your conscious mind refuting the positive messages you are trying to learn.

  • Subliminal Software. Here is a great little program for putting positive affirmations on your computer screen that only your subconscious will pick up. Not only is it effective, it’s free! You can run this program while you’re working, surfing, or playing games. You can be productive and reprogram your subconscious mind at the same time.

The Routine for Subconscious Mind Reprogramming

Subconscious mind reprogramming can be done in as little as 30 minutes a day. The more time you dedicate to it, the faster you’ll see results. I recommend starting with meditation, at least for a few minutes in order to quiet your subconscious mind first, making it easier to more directly influence the subconscious mind. Then spend about 10 minutes visualizing and/or repeating your positive affirmations. Do these three times daily. The best times are first thing in the morning and shortly before you go to sleep at night. Try to fit in one other session during the day.

This routine must be done daily for at least 30 days. Many studies have confirmed that it takes about 30 days of daily repetition to develop new beliefs and habits. If you miss a day, don’t be discouraged (it’s not uncommon), but do start your count back to day 1.

Perhaps you’re thinking that you don’t want to commit to 30 minutes a day. Maybe you’re thinking that you don’t have 30 minutes of time available to you. I can only say that it’s really up to you to decide how badly you want your life to change. You can keep doing what you’ve always been doing and see the same results, or you can start working on changing your beliefs and habits and putting your success and positive attitude on autopilot. A bit of effort for the next month or so can lead to long-term positive changes in your life.

If you picked two new beliefs to install each month, you could have 24 new beliefs and habits installed in a year. With 24 new beliefs and habits each year, you will quickly start seeing your attitude shift into something much more positive. You’ll start seeing more and more success in the areas of your life you’re working on.
